Sigh. I have been trying hard to catch my breath to keep up with the fast and furious pace of Summer. Thanks to all of you who come out and supported us at the Christian Festivals. Remember ME Jewelry has been vending at Ichthus (KY), Alive (OH), Creation East (PA), Lifest (WI), Sonshine (MN), and Creation West (WA). As I write, set-ups are taking place in NY for KingdomBound, and then we wind down with Soulfest in NH. Upon their return we will immediately load up the untold boxes (I hope to have packed in their absence:) and move from quiet Hayward WI to Hilliard OH (a suburb of Columbus). Let the Wind Blow
'Let My Spirit reign supreme as Lord and ruler over everything. Let Him come invade your thoughts with My thoughts, your ways with My ways, your daunting circumstances with My Hope. Let Him comfort you in your distress, help you in your struggle, and teach you in My Word. HE will lead and guide you in all Truth. He is My manifest Presence on the earth, Rejoice! The Following Word rings true…especially of late. I’ve been manic for several weeks and in these “deep and dark” places and times I remind myself that even here, God is at work. If…I let Him, He will pour His strength into my weakness, His provision and power overcomes my frail inabilities, and His hope rises within. I have to believe something beautiful is developing within….
Do you not know that the Lily of The Valley grows in deep and difficult places? When it is dark and seemingly barren, rest in the knowledge that beneath the soil, deep within your heart, My roots are growing deeper. Deeper and deeper they spread, anchoring your soul. Yes, it is in the pleasant places where the sun shines forth the beauty of the Lily for all to see. But know and understand My love, if not for the cold, damp, dark and difficult place, the root system would not have become established, and therefore, no blossom would have emerged. Remember My love, The Lily of the Valley grows in deep and difficult places.

Sticky Business
I groaned when I discovered the missing pile of hi-jacked mail (my husband retrieved the mail and left it in the deep, dark, abyss called his office only to mysteriously surface many months later on my desk). Wincing, I slowly peeked with one eye at the several invitations for parties, weddings, and showers that came and went weeks ago. I was still reeling from embarrassment over the unseen invitations when I found several bills that were also MIA, therefore not paid. Thus commenced the sequence of events that would undo even the most composed super-mom, let alone Zazoo Pits.
“English!” I yelled into the phone for the third consecutive time.
“I’m sorry, we couldn’t understand what you said. Please say which language you wish to continue in, English or Spanish?”

Basking in my most recent mother-flop, I confess at this precise moment, L is for “Loser.” Gone are all the triumphant memories of Birthday Parties and special mother-daughter play dates; playing dress-up, Barbie’s, reading stories or doing an art project together. All is lost in the current sea of failure. I blew it. And no matter how I want to retrieve the moment, it’s gone forever.

The Sky Is Always Blue.....Always
To the casual observer, I appear to be a thirty-something wife, mother of five, daughter, sister, and friend. I am all those things, but more than that, I’m an “Overcomer.” To really know who I am and what you’ll discover in my story, pause for a moment, find a mirror, and peer deeply into your own eyes. The color of our skin may differ, our cultures may be worlds apart, and we may disagree on political issues and even have opposing religious beliefs.
