The Invitation to Know Him
You have been invited by The King to come and fellowship intimately with him. Don’t worry about the cost; He’s already paid for you. Don’t worry about what you will wear; He has beautiful garments of salvation to cover your shame. Whatever your need; He Himself is your provision. All you have to do is come.
RSVP required; the very manifestation of God’s love for you was made known through the gift of His Son. You must make the choice to either accept or reject the invitation of His love.
1 "Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink – even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk – it's all free! 2 Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen, and I will tell you where to get food that is good for the soul! 3 "Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, for the life of your soul is at stake. I am ready to make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the mercies and unfailing love that I promised to David. 6 Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. 7 Let the people turn from their wicked deeds. Let them banish from their minds the very thought of doing wrong! Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:1-7. NLT

8 The word that saves is right here, as near as the tongue in your mouth, as close as the heart in your chest. 9 Say the welcoming word to God - "Jesus is my Master" - embracing, body and soul, God's work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That's it. You're not "doing" anything; you're simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That's salvation. 10 With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: "God has set everything right between him and me!" 11 Scripture reassures us, "No one who trusts God like this - heart and soul - will ever regret it." 12 It's exactly the same no matter what a person's religious background may be: the same God for all of us, acting the same incredibly generous way to everyone who calls out for help. 13 "Everyone who calls, 'Help, God!' gets help." Romans 10: 8-13, The Message.
