My story may be the beginning of “Remember ME” Jewelry but it is by no means the end. Because The Spirit of God is like the wind, He is constantly moving and flowing in and through all of us, giving each of us a story to share.

I have been blessed to encounter some of you personally and hear first hand how “Remember ME” Jewelry has touched your heart and transformed your life. Many of you have also experienced what I call the “gift it syndrome;” where the Lord speaks to your heart to give a treasured “Remember ME” Jewelry piece away to another heart He is trying to touch with His love. Out of this cycle of love comes many countless stories that have blessed and encouraged my heart so deeply that I hope someday to compile them all into a book. He knew long before I did...

I make jewelry too. A few years ago I was calling on a wholesale customer who owns a Christian gift store/coffee bean shop. I had become close with the owners and always enjoyed their company when I went to do business. I was also a customer, making several purchases there for myself, family and friends. One day they gave me the book The Sky is Always Blue. I set the book on my nightstand, not feeling like I could relate at all and thinking there are a million other books on my "to read" pile. There it sat collecting dust.
Skip ahead 2 years- I spent 2 to 3 months having crazy feelings, excruciating pain and wild scary thoughts and then 5 days in a hospital thinking that I was having a heart attack where I was told nothing was wrong with me except anxiety. That is when one day in the midst of my own personal mental meltdown that I call my "ride on the crazy train" I remembered it- the book on my nightstand. Wow- it was the first time I read anything that remotely sounded like I felt. I will say, that I just boarded my crazy train and so after being diagnosed with anxiety I did go to my doctor and began medication. I spent 3 weeks in hell with that one and then tried another- it worked wonders for 3 weeks and then the bottom fell out. Then I found the book and reread the I Surrender about a million times and prayed!! Now I see that this is not something that I can control or fix. If I do not surrender it to HIM I will live in this hell forever. I have 5 kids at home too (2 of my own, 2 step sons and one that we took in last year due to a bad situation for him (very Blind Side) so I am usually the one that is in control and tries very hard to be SuperMom. It was/is hard for me to surrender myself fully to Him, but I am trying so hard!!!   Read more »

Makes me think of Romance every single time....

The Photograph posted above (click it to enlarge) is one of my all time favorites. My sister in law gave it to me as a house warming gift many years ago when we purchased our first home. Makes me think of romance every single time.
As most of you know, "Remember ME" Jewelry was birthed out my pain. Much of that heartache had to do with a struggling marriage. When that Romantic print was given to me, there weren't many romantic feelings being shared between my husband and I. In Fact, I was quite certain that it was utterly Hopeless.
But I'd look at that done gone photo and cry out a prayer to Heaven to make Paul and I one even as He and The Father are One. If you read the AGAPE chapter in The Sky Is Always Blue, you know, it was a gut wrenching plea, more out of desperation than faith. But, oh, if we only remember how BIG our God is, our problems shrink immediately down to size!
I testify to you today, that a hopeless marriage is no big case for God! He hasn't given up on Paul and I, and we haven't given up on each other.... It'll be 22 Years this July!! I still wear my Agape Ring as a constant reminder that loving each other God's way
(1 Corinthians 13) is impossible apart from being immersed in God's Spirit. You can't will it or fake it. But if you have a willing, humble heart that will choose to forgive, He'll empower you every step of the way!
God is SO Faithful, even when we are not. Trust Him with ALL your heart. And if you are feeling faint of heart in relational woes this Valentines Day. Just remember there is really only ONE SoulMate, and He's utterly divine (Literally). HE longs for your heart. Run into His embrace.

The Beginning.....my part

Remember Me Jewelry is sooooo special to me because its what God used to save my precious sister from the brink.... I'll never forget that summer... We had flown in from Germany (my 2 yr old son and I, as my husband was to join us later) We were to stay with my sister and her family for over a month. It was a summer full of pain and struggle, but also precious moments too. One day during that summer, clear out of the blue, at the entrance to Michelle's guest room (at that time), off the kitchen...I can close my eyes right now and see it all...she grabbed me and told me, "Ri, God gave me a jewelry line and I HAVE to do it!! Will you help me?" Of course, at the time I wasn't sure it was God inspired, but this was my dear sweet little sister, one of my closest friends, OF COURSE I said yes. She showed me her chicken scratch symbols that were scribbled onto the back of printed sheets of a poem of hers (which I still have :). I took them back with me to Germany and sat day after day trying to draw what I envisioned the symbols were suppose to be. Finally after laying down my preconceptions and lifting up much prayer, the Lord flowed through me and the symbols were born in artform. Through this process, I came to KNOW that this jewelry line was indeed straight from the heart of God. It was totally confirmed to my heart, when I mailed the symbol artwork to Paul and Michelle and they responded with..."This is EXACTLY what we envisioned the symbols looking like". I could not have known that, since Michelle had not given me any indication of what she wanted....I only had her "lovely" chicken scratch stick figures. Since then, many years later....I am reminded again and again....of how my precious Father God invited me to join Him in the harvest of souls. Prophecy Fulfilled

On and on, He leads. On and on, we follow.

Our product was already sold in one particular bookstore, so participating in an “Artist and Author” open house could have seemed insignificant and meaningless “business.” But in fact, it was a beautiful part of His plan. There I spoke one-on-one with dozens of interested people. I prayed over several as the Lord led and imparted His Heart through prayer and gifted jewelry pieces. I went home and never thought twice about that day.
About two years later I received a most amazing email:

I am sure you get tons of emails… We met two years ago at the River House in Delafield. You prayed with me and prophesied to me, before I knew what that was. ☺ You spoke healing to me and were a vehicle the Lord used to reveal His extravagant love. You gave me five symbols … each one with profound prophetic revelation of His Love. Prompted by the Spirit, I write to tell you that I am fluent in Spanish and if you ever consider translating your writings, please consider me.
You told me two years ago I was pregnant with purpose. Since we talked that day in the bookstore, the Lord has healed my heart, which was broken by years of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. I have been filled with the Holy Spirit, my husband is now saved, and I am ministering to pregnant teens and enrolled in ministry school (having completed high school in seven weeks after not having been in school for ten years)! I have forgiven my mom and my stepfather (the perpetrator of the abuse). I am living in the overflow of God’s love, grace, and mercy with a determined purpose to know Him and make Him known!
