The Beginning.....my part

Remember Me Jewelry is sooooo special to me because its what God used to save my precious sister from the brink.... I'll never forget that summer... We had flown in from Germany (my 2 yr old son and I, as my husband was to join us later) We were to stay with my sister and her family for over a month. It was a summer full of pain and struggle, but also precious moments too. One day during that summer, clear out of the blue, at the entrance to Michelle's guest room (at that time), off the kitchen...I can close my eyes right now and see it all...she grabbed me and told me, "Ri, God gave me a jewelry line and I HAVE to do it!! Will you help me?" Of course, at the time I wasn't sure it was God inspired, but this was my dear sweet little sister, one of my closest friends, OF COURSE I said yes. She showed me her chicken scratch symbols that were scribbled onto the back of printed sheets of a poem of hers (which I still have :). I took them back with me to Germany and sat day after day trying to draw what I envisioned the symbols were suppose to be. Finally after laying down my preconceptions and lifting up much prayer, the Lord flowed through me and the symbols were born in artform. Through this process, I came to KNOW that this jewelry line was indeed straight from the heart of God. It was totally confirmed to my heart, when I mailed the symbol artwork to Paul and Michelle and they responded with..."This is EXACTLY what we envisioned the symbols looking like". I could not have known that, since Michelle had not given me any indication of what she wanted....I only had her "lovely" chicken scratch stick figures. Since then, many years later....I am reminded again and again....of how my precious Father God invited me to join Him in the harvest of souls. For years I had asked the Lord to let me be a part of the harvest. I so struggle to talk with strangers, soooo unlike my sister, so I thought the Lord would change me to be more outspoken...but instead....HE used my God-given talent to be a part of Remember Me Jewelry, which in turn has touched many, many hearts, including some who have given their hearts to Him. I know that God's beautiful gift of Remember Me Jewelry, deposited into my sister's heart and soul....was one of the ways that He breathed LIFE into her and now He continues to use "RM" to do the same for others. I am truely humbled and thankful to have been a part of Remember Me Jewelry. with all my heart, Ria
