Prophecy Fulfilled
by Michelle | Thu, 12/03/2009 - 11:07On and on, He leads. On and on, we follow.
Our product was already sold in one particular bookstore, so participating in an “Artist and Author” open house could have seemed insignificant and meaningless “business.” But in fact, it was a beautiful part of His plan. There I spoke one-on-one with dozens of interested people. I prayed over several as the Lord led and imparted His Heart through prayer and gifted jewelry pieces. I went home and never thought twice about that day.
About two years later I received a most amazing email:
I am sure you get tons of emails… We met two years ago at the River House in Delafield. You prayed with me and prophesied to me, before I knew what that was. ☺ You spoke healing to me and were a vehicle the Lord used to reveal His extravagant love. You gave me five symbols … each one with profound prophetic revelation of His Love. Prompted by the Spirit, I write to tell you that I am fluent in Spanish and if you ever consider translating your writings, please consider me.
You told me two years ago I was pregnant with purpose. Since we talked that day in the bookstore, the Lord has healed my heart, which was broken by years of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. I have been filled with the Holy Spirit, my husband is now saved, and I am ministering to pregnant teens and enrolled in ministry school (having completed high school in seven weeks after not having been in school for ten years)! I have forgiven my mom and my stepfather (the perpetrator of the abuse). I am living in the overflow of God’s love, grace, and mercy with a determined purpose to know Him and make Him known!
Love, Jess
Through our future correspondence and phone calls, it was apparent that she was sent for “such a time as this.” She is her Father’s daughter; her heart is so full of His that it bursts forth out of every syllable and pore of her being. Jessica translated every single one of "Remember ME" Jewelry writings into Spanish!
Look and see how God works, taking something awful and working it to good (Romans 8:28): Upon the painful disclosure of her abuse to her mother, Jess was asked to leave their home in the United States to live in a remote part of Uruguay at only thirteen years old. The only English spoken was through a woman named Rachel, the lone missionary who occasionally came through. Jessica had to learn everything the hard way, including speaking and understanding Spanish. But God was at work, even then.
Many years later, He used me in my brokenness (via “Remember ME” Jewelry) to minister and impart life and hope into her brokenness. And now He is using what Jessica thought was a “wasted place” in Uruguay to impart hope and healing into millions of Spanish-speaking seekers. I need to mention a touching detail. God brought her turbulent relationship with her mother and step-dad full circle. Once ostracized, Jessica and her newfound relationship with God have been fully embraced by both of her parents. Lasting, sweet evidence of God’s redeeming love will linger on each and every one of the Spanish translations of “Remember ME;” Jessica’s mother’s heart could not refuse her daughter’s request that they collaborate together on the translations. This endeavor bound their hearts together with His as healing balm, covering all past wounds. Together, the both of them have beautifully translated every single one of our ring and symbol writings for our first Spanish catalog! I can already see those South American eyes on the grains of harvest wheat, swaying in His wind.
The first of THOSE SOUTH AMERICAN EYES I myself got the privilege of peering into this past November in Guatemala. I was overwhelmed to see God's goodness pass right before my eyes!! I was blessed to be able to donate nearly 200 pieces of "Remember ME" Jewelry in Spanish! To see their tear-filled eyes of wonder as they read '"Completo!" (Whole) was more than my heart had dared dream. See, to these Guatemalan Women, heart-break is a way of life. Men are around only long enough to give them children, then they disappear, leaving these poor, ravaged, women to fend for the entire family. Hope to the hurting heart (Completo) was like a healing balm of Gilead!
Thank You Jesus for the Fulfillment of Your Word!
I love you!
your girl,
Michelle
